Pixar celebrates its 25th feature film with the release of “Turning Red”. Mei Lee is a 13-year-old girl who is torn between being her mother’s obedient daughter and the chaos of her youth. As if that were not enough, when she gets too excited, she turns into a big red panda. (Wikipedia) “Turning Red” comes from first-time feature-film director Domee Shi (previously directed the short film “Bao”). This is also the first Pixar film solely directed by a woman! A24 throws their hat into the multiverse ring with “Everything Everywhere All at Once“. When an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero (Michelle Yeoh) must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. With a solid 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” is already being praised as one of the best movies of the year. (Wikipedia) This film has a limited release in theaters.

Netflix’s Regency-Era drama “Bridgerton“, returns and we’re beyond excited. In this season, Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathon Bailey) sets out to find a suitable wife. Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India.
