Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

The newest addition to the Marvel movie collection was released on September 3, 2021. It tells the story of how Martial-arts master Shang-Chi confronts the past he thought he left behind when he’s drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

Dear Evan Hansen

Evan Hansen is an anxious, isolated high-school student who’s aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social media age. He soon embarks on a journey of self-discovery when a letter he wrote for a writing exercise falls into the hands of a grieving couple whose son took his own life.

Tv Shows & Netflix

There were lots of new additions to Netflix’s already humongous catalog in the month of September!

Money Heist

Money Heist is back with part one of its series finale! In this 5th season, the stakes are higher than ever and they’re facing an enemy more powerful than ever: the army. Part 2 of Season 5 will be released in December 2021.

Squid Game

Hundreds of cash-strapped players accept a strange invitation to compete in children’s games. Inside, a tempting prize awaits — with deadly high stakes. This Korean sci-fi series has become a hot topic on social media, for good reason!

Blood Brothers

From a chance meeting to a tragic fallout, Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali’s extraordinary bond cracks under the weight of distrust and shifting ideals.

Netflix also released some fan-favorites like Marshall (2017), A Cinderella Story (2004), Love Don’t Cost a Thing (2003), Grown-Ups (2010), House Party 1, 2 & 3 (1990, 1991, 1994), School of Rock (2003) and Letters to Juliet (2010). Let us know if any of your favorites popped up on Netflix this month!

September was also a great month for music! Lots of albums and singles were released and we’re here to discuss our favorites!

Certified Lover Boy – Drake

Drake’s latest album, Certified Lover Boy, dropped on September 3rd and quickly took over music libraries everywhere. Our favorites are “Race My Mind”, “No Friends in the Industry”, “N 2 Deep” and “Pipe Down”. Filled with features from heavy hitters like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Lil Baby and Giveon, we suspect this album will be in rotation for years to come.

Star-Crossed – Kacey Musgraves

The singer and songwriter’s fourth studio album, “Star-Crossed,” is a chronicle of her marriage’s demise, delivered with adventurous production and beautiful vocals. Our favorites are “star-crossed”, “justified”, “camera roll”, “there is a light” and “cherry blossom”.

Montero – Lil Nas X

Montero shows a more vulnerable side to the artist known as Lil Nas X than we’ve ever seen before. We are given a glimpse into his thoughts and experiences with love and loss through these tracks, while still maintaining that liveliness that we know him for. This album features artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus and Elton John, that help elevate the music to another level.
