10 Episodes To Stream This Halloween

Some would say sitcoms are distinguished based on how good their holiday episodes are (it’s us, we’re the some) and every great sitcom has an iconic Halloween episode. So, we’ve composed a list of worthy Halloween episodes for you to stream this month of October! We wouldn’t even think about recommending anything other than the finest of shows.

Community- Epidemiology (Season 2, Episode 6)

The Dean throws a Halloween party on campus, where a few of the guests become sick from eating an unknown substance. The substance causes those who ate it to go into a violent zombie-like state, that can be transferred through bite. As the study group tries to escape, the Dean locks the doors, trapping them inside with the infected. With whole episode being set to the musical stylings of ABBA.

The Office- Halloween (Season 2, Episode 5)

The very first halloween episode of The Office and Michael is pressured by corporate to fire a Dunder Mifflin employee. When Dwight continues to annoy Jim, Jim and Pam post Dwight’s resume online and after multiple failed attempts, Michael finally ends up firing an employee, who is not happy about it.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine-  HalloVeen (Season 5, Episode 4)

Really, any Brooklyn Nine-Nine Halloween episode will do, but our pick will have to be from season 5. It’s the fifth annual Halloween Heist at the 99th precinct and this time everyone is competing, even “Cheddar” the dog. The prize? The “Amazing Human/Genius” titled belt. However, a big event happens this year that changes the name of the game (literally).

Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23- Love and Monsters (Season 2, Episode 2)

James, who is terrified of Halloween, throws his annual “positivity party”. June finds out that Chloe is dating someone and is happy to see her in a real relationship. This is until Chloe reveals that he is the latest victim of her annual Halloween prank, where she makes their worst fears come true. However, the prank doesn’t go as planned.

Parks and Recreation- Meet ‘N’ Greet (Season 4, Episode 5)

Leslie hires Tom’s company, Entertainment 720, to organize a meet and greet for her to get votes from Pawnee business owners. However, it’s bombarded with Entertainment 720 advertisements. While Andy and April throw a huge Halloween party at their house without letting Ben know about it, in which he becomes passive aggressive about.

Bob’s Burgers- The Hauntening (Season 6, Episode 3)

The Belchers have planned a trip to a haunted house. However, Louise is tired of them. She admits to her family that she’s never been scared but would like to be. This Halloween, Bob and Linda have something planned to terrify her.

New Girl- Keaton (Season 3, Episode 6)

Jess is planning to throw a Halloween party, but Cece won’t go if Schmidt is there. In an effort to change Schmidt’s behavior, Jess, Nick, and Winston resort to pretending to be his childhood idol, Michael Keaton.

Boy Meets World- And Then There Was Shawn (Season 5, Episode 17)

Corey and his friends end up getting after school detention. They find themselves locked in and all alone, all while some spooky stuff is going on; parodying teen high school horror films.

Modern Family- Halloween (Season 2, Episode 6)

Clare loves Halloween so much that she turns the Dunphy residence into a haunted house, which goes wrong when Phil is worried about their relationship. Gloria begins acting weird and talking differently when Jay and Manny correct her accent and Cameron goes throughout the whole episode telling the story about his “traumatic” Halloween.

Single Parents- Politician, Freemason, Scientist, Humorist, and Diplomat, Ben Franklin (Season 1, Episode 5)

Will gets nervous when his daughter wants to tone down their Halloween party because she invited a boy over. Poppy, along with Douglas’ twin daughters, try to persuade him to wear a silly costume. While Angie struggles to tell her boss that she needs to leave early to be with her son on Halloween.
