However, that doesn’t mean that Little D is not lacking in great places to eat breakfast at. Here is part 2 of the best breakfast places in Denton that are worth getting up early for.

The same way gourmet cupcakes were en vogue 5 years ago, gourmet donuts are the IT pastry now. Hypnotic Donuts does some amazing pastries with punny names like Mount Saint Hell Yeah, Sin’namon roll, and Expresso Yo Self. Everything is baked daily and trans-fat free, so enjoy this breakfast on your way to that early morning classes.

Cups & Crepescups and crepes in denton, tx

Super close to campus, they’re known for the coffee and crepes–hence the name. Cups & Crepes is only open on weekends, so before class probably isn’t an option, but pre or post Poohl Center it is. If you’re on or near campus, then this breakfast spot is defiantly recommended.

The Loco Cafe offers up homemade biscuits, migas, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos and even a breakfast pizza. With all their options, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy eating and help fuel you for your busy class day. If you’re pressed for time, they offer up a to-go option too. You’ll probably get some envious looks if you bring the entire takeout container to class though.

Delicious pancakes, velvety omelets, savory eggs Benedict and seasonal fruits make Le Peep a place worth coming to for that first meal of the day. Getting up early has its benefits. Monday from  6:30 AM – 11 AM eggs Benedict is $3 off and Tuesdays from 6:30 AM – 11 AM, their Plain Ol’ Pancakes are $2 off.

Kolaches. Just kolaches. The same reason (and let’s be real probably one of the main reasons) people love West, Texas is the kolaches. Likely, you aren’t commuting the 105 miles from West to Denton, so for some great kolaches in a much better location location; between Sage Hall and Sycamore Hall.
