Union Tree Lighting Ceremony

It’s that time of year again! The weather is getting chilly, classes are wrapping up and everyone is making holiday break plans. It’s also time for the Union Tree Lighting ceremony! The Union Tree Lighting ceremony has been a tradition for 36 years since the Union’s last renovation in 1976.

The ceremony is from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday November 20 in the Union courtyard. President V. Lane Rawlins will speak at 4:15 and to top of the event there will be free tasty treats! This is the very last Tree Lighting we will have in the current Union, so make sure to come out and make it special!

And remember the Union hours change for Thanksgiving break. Wednesday November 21 the Union closes early at 6 p.m. and it is closed Thursday November 22 through Sunday November 25.
